Development History

The development for current implementation of the Signficant Earthquakes and Fault Map was done by Michael Ihrig, funded by the SCEC Internship program.  Implementation was done by Aparna Bhaskaran. The original development was done by John Marquis.

Fault Data Sources

The data source for fault information is Jennings, 1994. We hope to incorporate a more recent version in the near future. For further research, interested users may also want to view the USGS Quaternary Fault Database.
