MOST RECENT SURFACE RUPTURE: Actively creeping due to fluid withdrawal; otherwise, Quaternary
OTHER NOTES: Dips to the west.

The Kern Front fault, as well as the nearby New Hope fault and Premier fault have been creeping since the late 1940's, as people began removing fluids (oil, water) from the sub-surface rock formations.
